Catalina Salazar

Catalina Salazar is a digital communications strategist specializing in visual storytelling, content creation, and messaging development. Prior to joining Groundwork, Catalina served as the Digital Director for Senator Chris Murphy, where she led the Senator’s digital media strategy and creative direction across platforms.

She brings a decade of experience in political communications experience on Capitol Hill and on national political campaigns to Groundwork.

Originally from Connecticut, Catalina graduated with a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College. In addition to her professional work, she’s a passionate food, restaurant and landscape photographer whose work has been featured in the New York Times.
