Tomorrow at 2 pm, Groundwork Collaborative’s Senior Fellow Kitty Richards will testify before the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Economic Policy at a hearing titled, “The Macroeconomic Impacts of Potential Tax Reform in 2025.”
In her testimony, Richards will lay out the numerous opportunities that tax reform provides in 2025, from investments in care, paid leave, and more. She will also highlight how tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations have starved the federal government of revenue and that reversing these giveaways can have positive economic impacts and reduce inequality.
