Today, for the third year in a row, Washingtonian Magazine named Groundwork Collaborative Executive Director Lindsay Owens as one of the “500 Most Influential People Shaping Policy” in Washington, D.C.

Calling Owens “one of D.C.’s most strategic and creative minds,” Washingtonian notes in its profile that Owens is at the forefront of major economic policy debates in Washington. Under Owens’ leadership, Groundwork has become a sought-after resource for sharp analysis, incisive commentary, and innovative research on the economy on issues ranging from tax policy to trade to DOGE. Owens herself is widely known for her ability to communicate pressing economic arguments by going beyond the numbers, combining her academic expertise with political savvy and a keen understanding of how people actually experience the economy in their lives.
