Today, the House is considering a budget resolution that gives them a blueprint for slashing Medicaid, SNAP, and other key programs in order to fund another round of tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy and corporations. Groundwork Collaborative Chief of Policy and Advocacy Alex Jacquez reacted with the following statement:
“The math doesn’t lie – House Republicans’ budget resolution would defund Medicaid.
“House Republicans are dead set on funding deeply unpopular tax giveaways for billionaires and large corporations by ripping health care away from millions of families. It’s not a surprise that Americans are rapidly losing confidence in Trump’s economy.”
