Today, Groundwork Collaborative Executive Director Lindsay Owens released the following statement in response to President Biden’s speech on “Bidenomics” and his economic agenda:
“President Biden is exactly right. Trickle-down economics was a failed experiment and the only way to truly strengthen our economy is to prioritize the workers and families that drive it.
“We are glad to see President Biden and his administration fully embrace an economic agenda that puts money in the hands of workers and families, invests in our infrastructure, and calls on the wealthiest Americans and biggest corporations to pay their fair share.”
