Ahead of tomorrow’s July Jobs Report, Dr. Rakeen Mabud, chief economist and managing director of policy and research at the Groundwork Collaborative, released the following statement:
“Workers are counting on our leaders to build on the historic labor market recovery over the last year – and cement the gains we have already made. That starts with a fairer tax code and public investment in workers, climate, and health care – key components of the Inflation Reduction Act. It’s time for our leaders to listen to economists and the public and pass this important legislation into law.”
