Ahead of tomorrow’s May Jobs Report, Groundwork’s Director of Policy and Research Mike Mitchell released the following statement:
“The critical investments we made in workers and families have sustained one of the strongest recoveries on record. However, we cannot afford to get complacent, especially when we continue to face unacceptable unemployment rates for Black and brown workers. Our path towards a sustained and inclusive economy demands additional investments in child care, housing, climate, and good-paying jobs.”
