Today, the Biden administration unveiled the first 10 prescription drugs that will be subject to price negotiations under the Inflation Reduction Act.
Groundwork’s Acting Executive Director Kitty Richards released the following statement:
“For too long, millions of Americans have been forced to pay outrageous prices for life-saving drugs while pharmaceutical companies extract record profits.
“We applaud the Administration for using the power of government to rein in the pharmaceutical industry’s profiteering and begin building an economy where no one has to choose between life-saving medications and paying their rent.”
