Matt Hayward

Matt Hayward is the Chief of Partnerships and Government Affairs at Groundwork Collaborative.

Prior to Groundwork, Matt served as Deputy Director of the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs at the National Labor Relations Board during the Biden-Harris Administration. He previously worked for the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Senator Al Franken (D-MN), and the Federal Reserve Board. Matt has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and lives in Washington, DC.
